I seem to have been focused mostly on virtual instruments and I recall recent projects were I did record audio I used a looper pedal to catch small loops and then I pasted them into Reaper for editing. I moved in 2020 and things haven't been the same. It's been forever since I actually recorded audio in Reaper.
